Last year I was given the opportunity to develop images for a new line of products from Kohler called Components. The content was for websites, store fronts, posters, brochures, billboards and more. These particular renders were designated for posters and store fronts (other than the Ombre Finish and two brochure renders).
The products had not been launched at the time these were needed, so instead of using photography the executive art director entrusted our small rendering division to develop photo-realistic images with a bold cinematic quality.
I am very happy to have been selected by the company to work on this project, that allowed me maximum creativity with the lighting and reflections on the products. They were very pleased with the results, and across the company people still mistake these renders for photography.
